One Nazri too many...
Judge Nazri set bail at RM5,000 in one surety and fixed mention of the case for Aug 20.
It was a case of one Nazri too many at the Sessions Court today.
Trader Mohd Nazri Mohd Noor, 46, was charged before Judge Nazri Ismail with offering a bribe to a policeman about a fortnight ago. The trader was represented in court by counsel Nik Noor Nazri Nik Soh.
Mohd Nazri, 46, pleaded not guilty to offering a RM5,000 bribe to Cpl Hadi Hasan of the Pasir Puteh police station as an inducement to release him and a friend, Md Akbardarr Md Ridzan, 31, caught for allegedly having drugs and home-made weapons.
He was accused of handing over an ATM card of a bank and the PIN number to the policeman in a police patrol car taking him to the police station on July 5.
Judge Nazri set bail at RM5,000 in one surety and fixed mention of the case for Aug 20.
Shahidah Muslimah Roslan of the Kelantan Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission appeared for the prosecution.
