Only MyKad needed for ASNB transactions

Beginning June 28, Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB) shareholders only need their MyKad to conduct transactions.

The move is part of ASNB's efforts to increase customer service efficiency, Chief Executive Officer/ Executive Director Mohammad Hussin told a press conference here today.

"Before this, shareholders had to bring their investment book and identity card to conduct transactions, especially withdrawals.

"Those who lost the book had to wait a long time for a replacement as it could only be done at ASNB branches and were levied a replacement fee," he added.
