PAC's 1MDB probe deliberately sabotaged, alleges Dr Tan

Dr Tan who is the PAC's deputy chairman said they had already anticipated that the 1MDB top men would not turn up for the hearing before PAC.
Public Accounts Committee (PAC) probe into 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) has been deliberately sabotaged, Dr Tan Seng Giaw alleged.
Refusing to elaborate, Dr is the PAC's deputy they had already anticipated that the 1MDB top men would not turn up for the hearing before PAC.

"PAC has been deliberately suspended and we already anticipated the 1MDB people would not turn up. We have anticipated the whole thing to be deliberately sabotaged," Dr Tan was quoted by The Malaysian Insider.
1MDB former CEOs Datuk Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi and Mohd Hazem Abdul Rahman together with 1MDB president Arul Kanda Kandasamy were to appear before the 13-member committee this month.
PAC hearing had been scheduled for Aug 4, 5, 6,17 and 18 as well as Sept 8 and 10.
PAC chairman Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed had announced that he will relinquish his position as the committee chairman following his appointment as Deputy Home Minister.
Apart from Nur Jazlan, other PAC members who have been appointed into the Cabinet are Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican, Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin and Datuk Wilfred Madius .
Reezal Merican was appointed as Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, while Mas Ermieyati as Deputy Tourism Minister.
Another PAC member, Datuk Wilfred Madius was appointed as the new Science, Technology and Innovation Minister.
