PAC's first meeting next Monday - Chairman

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) would hold its first meeting next Monday, said its newly appointed chairman Datuk Hasan Arifin.

However, he declined to reveal what would be discussed at the meeting.

"We have drawn up the agenda of the meeting and will inform you all (on the matters discussed at the meeting)," he told reporters at the Parliament lobby, here, today.

The PAC meeting will be the first after its previous chairman Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed and three of the members were appointed as minister and deputy ministers in a cabinet reshuffle on July 28.

Nur Jazlan, who is also the Member of Parliament for Pulai, was made Deputy Home Minister.
