Pahang Sultan chairs Conference of Rulers meeting

The Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah, Wednesday chaired the 231st meeting of the Conference of Rulers at the Istana Negara.

The one-day meeting was attended by all the rulers except the Sultan of Kedah, who was represented by the chairman of the Kedah Council of Regency Datuk Seri Utama Tunku Annuar Sultan Badlishah, and the Sultan of Perak, who was represented by the Regent of Perak Raja Dr Nazrin Shah Sultan Azlan Shah.

The rulers were accompanied by the respective menteris besar except for the Sultan of Kelantan who was accompanied by a representative of the menteri besar.

The Yang Dipertuas Negeri of Penang, Melaka, Sabah and Sarawak also attended the meeting.

They were accompanied by their respective chief ministers except for the Yang Dipertua of Sarawak who was accompanied by Sarawak Minister of Resource Planning and Environment II Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.
