Pakistan helicopter crash: Habibah's remains arrive in Malaysia

The body of Malaysian High Commissioner to Pakistan Datuk Dr Hasrul Sani Mujtabar’s wife Datin Habibah Mahmud who died in the Pakistani military MI-17 helicopter crash in the Naltar Valley, Pakistan on May 8, had arrived in the country.
The remains transported by Pakistan's Air Force aircraft, C130 PAF0977 arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) from Islamabad at 9.10pm on Friday night.
Accompanying Habibah’s remains from Islamabad were her husband and Pakistan's Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman.

A short prayer recital, was held shortly after the coffin bearing Habibah's remains was carried out from the aircraft cargo, at the Complex Bunga Raya, KLIA.
The van carrying the body left the KLIA for her hometown in Muar, Johor, escorted by vehicles carrying family members, for burial. The funeral will be held at the Parit Yusof Darat Muslim Cemetery ground in Kampung Parit Masjid, Muar at 8am, Saturday.
Habibah perished in the incident, which also claimed the lives of ambassadors from Norway, Netherlands, and Philippines, among others.
Hasrul had survived the incident and was treated in Gilgit Hospital.
