There was ephemeral chaos in the Dewan Rakyat here today when policymakers from both the ruling and opposition pacts engaged in a verbal harangue against each other, using colloquial terms such as ‘pondan’ and ‘bodoh’.
The chaos unfolded after Ketereh member of parliament, Tan Sri Annuar Musa took a jibe at Gelang Patah (MP) Lim Kit Siang over his illustrious political career, likening him to world leaders like former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, ex-Philippines president, Ferdinand Marcos and Zimbabwe president, Robert Mugabe.
