Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia is now in stable condition after going through a minor surgery in Singapore.
According to a parliamentary source, Pandikar went to Singapore after feeling unwell after the Dewan Rakyat sitting that ended last Thursday.
"It was only a minor surgery on his back. He is in good condition now and currently undergoing treatment in Singapore," the source told Astro AWANI.
The source also dismissed rumours that Pandikar had suffered a haemorrhagic stroke like the ones circulated in WhatsApp and social media recently.
In January 2010, Pandikar suffered a heart attack and underwent a bypass surgery.
