'Panicking Opposition are using DoJ as diversion from Forex RCI bombshell' - Annuar

THE Cabinet's decision to form an RCI to investigate the forex losses suffered by Bank Negara - which some say are up to RM100 billion of the rakyat's money - has created a state of panic within the Opposition.

UMNO Information Chief, Tan Sri Annuar in a statement today said that the Opposition had no option but to recycle the politically-motivated DoJ report to resurrect the dying 1Malaysia Development Berhad issue.

"We all know who was responsible for this fiasco and the opposition are in chaos because they cannot afford to lose Mahathir Mohamad with the general election coming," said Annuar.

"They know that, if the facts come out, the people would see the opposition and its leadership for what they really are. This could cause huge damage to them in the election," he added.

He stressed that it was the opposition ‎and their proxies who briefed DoJ, shamefully and treasonously calling for foreign intervention in our sovereign democratic nation just to serve their selfish political agenda.

"The opposition are trying to manipulate the DoJ report to shift the focus away from the forex RCI and from the internal crisis of confidence with the leadership of Pribumi.
