Paris Fashion Week Day 1
Jacquemus gets two-faced! And shocks with blurred identities and avant-garde nipples This being the fourth leg of Fashion Week, you could forgive sleepy-eyed and jaded fashion editors for doing a double-take at Jacquemus when they were confronted with what appeared to be three eyes peering back at them from the runway (a little unnerving we assume). Models donned childlike sketches of faces slanting away from their eyes for just the right amount of a bizarre start to the Paris Fashion Week shows.

Every season Jacquemus has jumped around from being marketable to conceptualism. Such impulsively isn't completely a surprise as he is just 25 after all. After the pop and humour of Jacquemus' beach-esque Spring show, tonight's collection landed resolutely in the abstract strange faction. It has an instinctual feel of a child and definitely surprised the spectators.
Surrealism and extra faces is a trend we haven’t caught on yet. There’s a reason Jacquemus is the word on everyone’s lips today.
