Parliament to be dissolved today?
Twitter is today abuzz with rife speculation of the dissolution of the Parliament in anticipation of the looming 13th General Election.
The excitement started following local daily newspaper , Berita Harian, tweeting a picture of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak leaving the Istana Negara after having an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong this morning.
The tweet that was posted around 12pm had received over 250 retweets and is keeping twitter users including politicians on their toes.
Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin tweeted that if the Prime Minister Office (PMO) calls for a press conference today than the news is confirmed.
However, he later tweeted that Najib's visit could also mean nothing as the latter meets with Yang Di Pertuan Agong every Wednesday.
Other twitter users have also jumped on the bandwagon of speculation the dissolution to take place today.
The Parliament will automatically dissolve on April 28, with polls to be held within 60 days.
