PAS Selangor today denied talks that the party had agreed for the number of state excos from the party to be reduced from four to three.

Its communication secretary Mohd Khairuddin Othman said PAS Central had also conveyed its displeasure over the reduction to PAS Selangor.

“We are also of the view that the dropping of Dr Halimah Ali and Sallehin Mukhyi who has excellent service before this, as state excos are baseless,” he said in a press statement today.

“We believe this is not a good start,” he added.

Mohd Khairuddin was commenting in the announcement of the new state exco line-up today by the newly-minted Menteri Besar Mohamad Azmin Ali.

The three PAS exco members announced are Iskandar Samad (Cempaka), Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi (Sijangkang) and Zaidy Abdul Talib (Tmn Templer)
