MARANG: There is no more room for PAS to work with Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), said its president, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.

According to the Marang Member of Parliament, PAS has had considerable experience in collaborating with the party before.

He said that at this time PAS will continue to focus on cooperation with its partners Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) and UMNO, which he described as getting stronger.

"PKR and DAP because we have experienced since 1998, 1999 to 2020. Enough, let them finish first because they are drowning. So, let them solve their problem.

"We are in a safer situation because we are getting stronger day by day.

“Our new cooperation is with Bersatu with UMNO including our partners in East Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak, including the parties that have joined the Perikatan Nasional," he said to reporters after delivering an online lecture at the Rusila Mosque, on Friday.

Earlier, the media reported that PKR President, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim did not rule out the possibility of collaborating with UMNO even though discussions on it have not been done formally.

The Port Dickson MP was reported to have said that the cooperation was supported by several leaders and MPs from UMNO, and it would become a reality if the party was determined to sever ties with Bersatu.

Commenting on the issue, Abdul Hadi said, it was up to the PKR president to form any cooperation because Malaysia is a democracy.
