PAS central committee member Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad was beaten by unknown assailants, in front of his house, early this morning.

He was beaten and punched on the face, after returning to his home in Shah Alam, after the early morning prayers.

Following the attack, Dzulkefly’s lips were split and his head was swollen.

PAS Youth chief Suhaizat Kayat who confirmed the incident said the PAS leader was also threaten with words “Why so insolent?”.

Suhaizan in his Facebook account did not dismiss the possibility that the act was done to provoke PAS leadership.
