Following is the chronology of crashes and emergency landings involving Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) aircraft since 1991:
* Oct 22, 1991 -- An instructor is killed when a Pilatus PC-7 aircraft piloted by him crashes in Kepala Batas, Kedah.
* Feb 27, 1992 -- Two pilots survive after a Pilatus PC-7 aircraft they were flying makes an emergency landing on the field of SM Sanglang, Kedah.
* July 11, 1993 -- A pilot of a Pilatus PC-7 dies after the aircraft crashes in a paddy field in Kampung Cemumar, Perlis.
* Oct 13, 1993 -- Two pilots are killed when a Cessna 402 light aircraft they were flying crashes in Kampung Seputeh near Taman Salak Selatan, Kuala Lumpur.
* Apr 15, 1996 -- An RMAF Aermacchi MB 339 aircraft crash-lands about 30 nautical miles off Pantai Mersing, Johor, near Pulau Yu. The pilot survives.
* Apr 17, 1996 -- A pilot of an F-5E fighter jet survives when the aircraft catches fire and rams into the safety barrier at the end of the runway of the RMAF Kuantan Airbase in Pahang.
* June 18, 1996 -- A Hawk 108 aircraft crashes during flight training near the RMAF Butterworth Airbase in Penang. No casualties are reported.
* July 23, 1996 -- A Hawk fighter jet crashes and explodes in a small ravine off Labuan Airport. Both pilots survive.
* Sept 3, 1998 -- A Kuantan-based MIG-29N aircraft crashes in southern Kampung Jaya Gading, Kuantan, Pahang, about 6.4km from the RMAF base. The pilot survives.
* Sept 10, 1998 -- A pilot dies when a Hawk 208 training aircraft crashes in Kuala Betis, Gua Musang, about 200km from Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
* May 24, 1999 -- A Caribou aircraft crashes shortly after taking off from the Kuching International Airport, Sarawak. All five people on board are killed.
* Oct 2, 2000 -- A Hawk 108 fighter jet skids after landing at the RMAF Labuan Base while undergoing routine flight training. The pilot survives.
* Apr 10, 2001 -- A trainee pilot is killed after a Pilatus PC-7 aircraft he was flying crashes in a paddy field near Kampung Kepala Parit, Kedah.
* Jan 23, 2002 -- An Aermacchi MB339 aircraft crashes in the Kenering Lake jungle area near Air Kala Dam in Gerik, Perak. The two pilots cheat death.
* Aug 12, 2003 -- A female trainee pilot dies when a Pilatus PC-7 aircraft she pilots crashes in a rubber smallholding near Kampung Lembah Keriang in Sintok, near Jitra, Kedah.
* Dec 18, 2003 -- Two pilots are killed when their Hawk 100 fighter jet ditches into the waters off Pantai Sepat in Kuantan, Pahang.
* May 27, 2004 -- A trainee pilot dies after a Pilatus PC-7 aircraft crashes near Kampung Padang Gelanggang in Sanglang, Kedah.
* Nov 9, 2004 -- An MiG-29N jet crashes in an oil palm estate of Ketengah Perwira in Kemaman, Terengganu. The pilot survives.
* Dec 16, 2004 -- A trainee pilot and instructor from the RMAF College in Kepala Batas, Kedah, are killed after a Pilatus PC-7 crashes.
* June 23, 2005 -- A Hawk 208 fighter jet crashes at the RMAF Labuan Airbase, killing its pilot.
* May 11, 2006 -- An RMAF training aircraft, a Pilatus PC-7, crashes in a paddy field in Kampung Ujung Padang, Kedah. The two pilots cheat death.
* May 4, 2007 -- A Hawk 208 aircraft crashes at the RMAF Kuantan Base in Pahang. The pilot survives.
* Sept 11, 2009 -- A light aircraft crashes on the runway of the Langkawi International Airport, Kedah. Two pilots die.
* March 25, 2010 -- A pilot is killed when a Pilatus PC-7 Mark II aircraft crashes in a jungle area near the Sports Complex of the Universiti Utara Malaysia in Sintok, Kedah.
* Feb 26, 2016 -- A CN235 aircraft makes an emergency landing along the Kuala Selangor coastline following engine failure. All eight crew on board are rescued by fishermen.
* May 17, 2016 -- An instructor and trainee pilot of an Aermacchi MB339CM aircraft survive a crash in a paddy field in Kampung Serum, Pekan, Pahang.
* Oct 4, 2016 -- A Nuri helicopter crash-lands on the roof of a living skills centre at SMK Balong in Tawau, Sabah. All 14 RMAF personnel on board are injured.
* Dec 21, 2016 -- A Beechcraft B200T aircraft crashes at the RMAF Butterworth Airbase, killing the pilot, while three others are injured.
* June 15, 2017 -- A Hawk 108 aircraft goes missing north of Kuantan near the Pahang-Terengganu border after it loses contact with the RMAF Kuantan Airbase at 11.30 am. The two pilots are found dead in a swamp forest near Chukai, Terengganu. The aircraft is yet to be found five hours later.
