KUALA LUMPUR: UMNO is adamant that it will not gamble any of its seats to other parties, especially in the 15th General Election (GE15).
UMNO Deputy President, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, stressed that the UMNO seats has belonged to the party since then, now and forever.
He said, the seats are not to be released in order to give a lifeline to any party.
"Let no one try to twist UMNO's hand. We will not give up.
"Umno will not be fooled by the rhetoric of the importance of the ummah and Malay solidarity that is fabricated," he said when opening the simultaneous conference of UMNO Wanita, Pemuda and Puteri, here, on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Mohamad said the solidarity of the ummah and unity of the Malays must be led by UMNO and not to be the vote bait by political liars, which ruled by the 'power without a mandate’ and without actual strength.
"What is certain, in our desire to lead Malaysia again, UMNO will not urge anyone to join Barisan Nasional (BN).
"Instead, we will use the 'Working with BN' approach so that a political force can be formed to manage the country for the next five years, with stability and excellence," he added.
