KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) arrested 235 individuals on Tuesday for violating orders of the Movement Control Order (PKP).
Senior Minister (Defence Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said in a statement, out of the total, 233 individuals were compounded while two remanded.
The offences include failure to provide equipment to record customer details (82), not wearing face masks (81), failure to comply with physical distancing instructions (57) and others (15).

Meanwhile, 43 public sanitation operations were carried out on Tuesday covering 10 red zones, one orange zone, 11 yellow zones and four green zones involving eight states and one in the Federal Territory.
The enforcement members of the Malaysian Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) conducted inspections at 20 construction sites throughout Malaysia and all construction sites inspected complied with the SOPs set.
