Perak government allocates RM6.65 million for KAFA teachers

The Perak state government has allocated RM6.65 million for 3,150 Quran and Fardu Ain Class (KAFA) teachers in the state this year.
State Islamic, Islamic Education and Personality Development Committee chairman Datuk Dr Mohd Nizar Zakaria said the incentive was to enhance their services of the teachers.
"Each KAFA teacher receive financial assistance of RM39 monthly of which RM27 is from the state government and RM12 from the Perak Islamic Council," he told reporters after presenting financial assistance of RM178,659 to KAFA teachers in Kuala Kangsar here, Sunday.
