State police chief, Datuk Hasnan Hassan said the man had to be detected to assist in the investigation.
Perak police are looking for a man who gave a bribe to a traffic policeman on duty last week, with the incident going viral on the social media.
State police chief, Datuk Hasnan Hassan said the man had to be detected to assist in the investigation.
"We are investigating and we have identified the traffic policeman involved who is attached to the Ipoh district police headquarters, now we are looking for the other guy.
"Disciplinary action has been taken against the policeman, and action is also being taken against him under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act. We need both of them to proceed further."

Hasnan was speaking at a press conference in conjunction with the state police contingent's monthly assembly and pinning-of-the-rank ceremony for senior officers and those of lower ranks, here, today.
The seven-second video clip of the incident which started going viral yesterday, shows a traffic policeman talking to a driver who then gave him some money.
Hasnan said the policeman involved was also ordered not to do outside duty until the end of the investigation.
He noted that this year, less than 10 policemen were found involved in corruption, and he urged all police personnel to uphold the integrity of the police force and not get involved in corrupt practices.
He also reminded them to be always in a state of preparedness against the Daesh terror threat.
"Over the last three years, 15 people from Perak have been detained for their involvement in Daesh-related activities, the last being a man in his 30''s or 40's who was arrested in Selama about two weeks ago," said Hasnan who declined to give further details.
At today''s ceremony, 25 promoted police officers and 141 other personnel received their new ranks, from Superindent to ASP to Sargeant.
