Perak speaker files RM25 mil suit over alleged sex VCD
Perak State Assembly Speaker Datuk R. Ganesan has filed a RM25 million suit against five opposition assemblymen for allegedly defaming him by insinuating that there exists a sex VCD involving him.
The suit, which named assemblyman V.Sivakumar (Tronoh), A.Subramaniam (Buntong), Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham (Sitiawan), Nga Kor Ming (Pantai Remis) and Lim Pek Har (Menglembu) as defendants.
It was filed at the High Court registry here today through his lawyer Azad Bashir.
Ganesan said the suit was filed after the five assemblymen failed to respond to his letter of demand for them to retract their statements and apologise to him.
He said the letter of demand to the five assemblymen was issued through his lawyer on Jan 15.
