The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Dr Nazrin Shah heads a list of 102 recipients of Selangor honours in conjunction with the 69th birthday of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah today.
Sultan Nazrin will be conferred the Darjah Kerabat Selangor Yang Amat Dihormati (D.K.) award while the Tengku Panglima Besar of Selangor, Tengku Abdul Samad Shah will be bestowed the Darjah Kerabat Selangor Yang Amat Dihormati (D.K.II).
Army chief Gen Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed Noor will receive the Seri Paduka Mahkota Selangor (S.P.M.S) first class honour award, which carries the title 'Datuk Seri'.
Also receiving the S.P.M.S is Petronas Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Pro-Chancellor of University Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Tan Sri Shamsul Azhar Abbas.
The investiture will take place at the Istana Alam Shah in Klang this morning.
Group Managing Director and CEO of Tabung Haji, Tan Sri Ismee Ismail is the sole recipient of the Datuk Setia-Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (S.S.I.S)(First Class) award this year. It carries the title 'Datuk Setia'.
Two Selangor state executive council (Excos) members are among 11 recipients of the Datuk Paduka Mahkota Selangor (D.P.M.S)(Second Class) award which carries the title 'Datuk' for males and 'Datin Paduka' for women. They are Iskandar Abdul Samad, who is also Selangor PAS commissioner, and Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi.
