Perak Sultan heads list of 102 recipients of Selangor honours

Sultan Nazrin will be conferred the Darjah Kerabat Selangor Yang Amat Dihormati (D.K.) award.
The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Dr Nazrin Shah heads a list of 102 recipients of Selangor honours in conjunction with the 69th birthday of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah today.
Sultan Nazrin will be conferred the Darjah Kerabat Selangor Yang Amat Dihormati (D.K.) award while the Tengku Panglima Besar of Selangor, Tengku Abdul Samad Shah will be bestowed the Darjah Kerabat Selangor Yang Amat Dihormati (D.K.II).
Army chief Gen Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed Noor will receive the Seri Paduka Mahkota Selangor (S.P.M.S) first class honour award, which carries the title 'Datuk Seri'.
Also receiving the S.P.M.S is Petronas Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Pro-Chancellor of University Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Tan Sri Shamsul Azhar Abbas.
The investiture will take place at the Istana Alam Shah in Klang this morning.
Group Managing Director and CEO of Tabung Haji, Tan Sri Ismee Ismail is the sole recipient of the Datuk Setia-Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (S.S.I.S)(First Class) award this year. It carries the title 'Datuk Setia'.
Two Selangor state executive council (Excos) members are among 11 recipients of the Datuk Paduka Mahkota Selangor (D.P.M.S)(Second Class) award which carries the title 'Datuk' for males and 'Datin Paduka' for women. They are Iskandar Abdul Samad, who is also Selangor PAS commissioner, and Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi.
The other recipients of the D.P.M.S are Malaysia's Ambassador to London, Datuk Ahmad Rasidi Hazizi; Undersecretary of Development Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Datuk Rustam Yahaya; Army Training and Doctrine chief Maj Gen Datuk Suhaimi Mohd Zuki; Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) Fleet Commander Vice-Admiral, Datuk Mohamad Roslan Mohd Ramli; Assistant Chief of Staff, Human Resources Division, Army Headquarters, Maj Gen Datuk Shahrani Mohd Sany.
NRY Architects Sdn Bhd managing director (MD) Datuk Mohamed Nazim Tun Abdul Razak; Professor in the Deputy Vice-Chancellor's Office, Research and Innovation, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Prof Dr Mohd Azmi Mohd Lila, Selangor Islamic Religious Council (JAIS)director, Ahmad Zaharin Mohd Saad and Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) Deputy MD (Technical), Abdul Ghani Hashim.
Recipients of the Datuk-Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (D.S.I.S)(Second Class) award which carries the title 'Datuk' for males and 'Datin Paduka' for women are Tengku Seri Andika Diraja Tengku Iskandar Shah Tengku Ismail Shah; Director-General, Members Service Division, Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM), Brig Gen Nazri Abu Bakar and Brig Gen Jalaluddin Manan, the commander of the 5th Brigade headquarters, Lok Kawi Camp, Sabah.
Others are Sungai Buloh Prison director, Deputy Commissioner of Prisons Narander Singh a/l Chand Singh; Road Transport Department Automotive Engineering Division director, Mohamad Dalib; Founder and Group Executive Chairman of Brunsfield International Group, Tan Sri Dr Gan Thian Leong.
MD and CEO of KWASA Land Sdn Bhd (subsidiary company of the Employees Provident Fund), Mohamad Lotfy Mohamad Noh; Perangsang Selangor Berhad chairman Raja Idris Raja Kamarudin; cartoonist Datuk Mohamad Nor Khalid (Datuk Lat); Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care Centre Child Specialist, Dr Lee Eng Lam.
Also receiving the D.S.I.S are Director-General (DG) of Town and Country Planning Department, Peninsular Malaysia, Dr Dahlia Rosly; Audit Director of the National Audit Department, Ong Swee Leng; and Chief Private Secretary to the Menteri Besar of Selangor, Mohamad Yasin Bidin.
As for the Setia Mahkota Selangor (S.M.S) award, 14 people will receive it this year. They are Malaysia-America Foundation Vice-President Syed Haizam Hishamuddin Putra Jamalullail, who is also a member of the Selangor royalty; Apex Group of Companies director Tengku Datuk Yusof Tengku Zainal Karib Shah; and Shah Alam Sessions Court Judge, Slamat Yahya.
Chief Imam of the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah mosque, Muhammad Farhan Wijaya; UPM's Agriculture Faculty dean Prof Dr Abdul Shukor Juraimi; UPM Research Fellow, Prof Dr Yoshihito Shirai; Chemistry Department Forensics Division director, Dr Kamarruddin Asri; and MD of the EKO Division at the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Jaswant Singh a/l Jai Singh.
Besides them are Deputy Director of the National Health Financing Unit at the Health Ministry, Dr Rozita Halina Tun Hussein; Deputy Secretary of Development in the Transport Ministry, Mano a/l Verabathan.
Department of Environment, Selangor director, Siti Zaleha Ibrahim; Selangor Zakat Board CEO, Mohamed Izam Mohamed Yusof; Senior Manager of Business Development, PKNS, Norzila Sidek; and Haron Mokhtar (the painter of '22 keping Karya Siri Menghadap Sultan Koleksi Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Selangor').
Fourteen people will receive the Setia-Sultan Saharafuddin Idris Shah (S.I.S) award and 20 others the Ahli Mahkota Selangor (A.M.S) award, including three athletes who won gold medals at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, namely Syakilla Salni Jefry Krisnan@Krishnamurthy (Karate); Ahmad Syukri
Abdul Aziz (Sailing ; and Mohamad Faizal Norizan (Sailing).
Eighteen others will receive the Ahli-Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (A.I.S) award while seven people the Bintang Perkhidmatan Cemerlang (B.P.C) medal.
