Malaysians are urged to patiently await the government's announcement of the new petrol price for the month of April.
Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Hasan Malek said, the new petrol price will only be made official on Tuesday night despite speculations on social media.
"Be patient, I cannot tell until it's time. It will be a confidential until tonight.
"Why would anyone want to complaint when no announcement is made about the petrol price? Please have patience," he said when contacted here today.
Hasan was commenting on the reaction given by many netizens who are disappointed about a predicted increase in petrol price in April.

He also refuted the statement on his Facebook page and described the action of spreading the rumors as being rude.
Meanwhile, Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan also asked the public to patiently wait for the petrol price announcement which will be made today.
"Just wait for 12:01am," he said.
