PETRONAS shares Winning Formula Experience at public engagement in KLCC

The MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team is expected to see another round of victory during the final race of the season at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend at the Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

With 15 podium victories throughout the season so far, the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team saw its drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg respectively securing 10 and 5 podium wins out of the 18 races to date.

Commemorating the victory, PETRONAS will share its winning formula to its fans at a PETRONAS Winning Formula Experience event held at the Esplanade in KLCC from 28 November to 1 December.

The team is expected to secure the FIA Formula One world Constructors’ Championship and took the top two positions in the FIA Formula One World Drivers’ Championship through Hamilton and Rosberg.

The victory, echoing last season’s success, underlines PETRONAS’ capability to continuously be on the forefront of innovation with its cutting-edge Fluid Technology Solutions.

Offering an intelligent approach to fluid requirements, maximizing performance through tailor-made products and expert services, PETRONAS Fluid Technology Solutions have been instrumental to the team in meeting the new challenges brought upon by changes to Formula One regulations.

The same technical expertise in delivering fuel and lubricants to Hamilton and Rosberg’s F1W06 Hybrid cars goes into developing PETRONAS’ fuel and lubricants to power everyday road-going cars.

Members of the public are able to experience the inner workings of the Fluid Technology Solutions through the four-day exhibition in KLCC which includes a line-up of activities suited for everyone of all ages.

The PETRONAS Winning Formula Experience will enable visitors to learn more about how PETRONAS’ Track Side Lab works for the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, or test their skills in the Pit Stop Challenge and Formula One Simulator.

Additionally, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix qualifying and race day will be shown ‘live’ on a big screen at the Esplanade of Suria KLCC on Saturday and Sunday night respectively.

The highlight of the event for fans will be a special appearance of World Champion, Lewis Hamilton and Head of Mercedes-Benz Motorsports, Toto Wolff on Tuesday night at 8pm.

Also set to make an appearance at the Esplanade on 29 November and 1 December are PETRONAS Talent Development Programme riders, Hafizh Syahrin and Ramdan Rosli, as well as European Formula 3 Championship driver, Nabil Jeffri.
