The Malaysian Film Producers Association (PFM) has welcomed the government’s decision to allow companies involved in producing television series, movies and commercials to resume operations beginning June 10.
Its president Panchacharam Nalliah, also known as Pansha said, although stricter standard operating procedure (SOP) must be applied, the move would at least help in completing overdue filming process.
Thank you again to the government for the concern shown to Malaysian creative industry.
At the same time, it can revitalise the industry with the new normal as well as providing opportunities to art activists to become active again,” he said in a statement to Bernama here, today.
Yesterday, Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said filming for commercials, television series and movies would be permitted, beginning June 10 by adhering to strict SOP. - BERNAMA
