Philippines to relay Kiram's questions to Malaysia
The brother of the self-proclaimed Sultan of Sulu Jamalul Kiram III, Esmail Kiram II is seeking several clarifications from the Malaysian government as our forces continue to hunt down the terrorists in Lahad Datu.
The Secretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government of the Phillipines, Manuel Roxas II said that the Department of the Foreign Affairs will relay the questions to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
"I think the questions are related to the Prime Minister Najib Razak's pronouncements and they wanted some clarifications. I said I will convey this to the President which I did and the he (president ) authorised Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario to convey these questions to Malaysians as well," said Roxas who was quoted by Philippines media, abs-cbnnews.com.
Roxas didn't provide any other details during a 'Live' interview on Mornings@ANC programme.
In the same report, he said that Philippines President Benigno Aquino III is concerned of the safety of more than 800,000 Filipinos in Sabah and some have fleed Lahad Datu due to the conflict.
