Pick-up the new Hilux

January sees another facelifted model coming off the Toyota line. By Jerrica LeongToyota recently announced that the Hilux was just given a few refreshments to suit the 2015 year. Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and leather seat upgrades are just a few of the changes that Toyota has done to the 2.5G AT variants Toyota also introduced the TRD Sportivo variant this year as well.
Here is what you get with the Hilux TRD Sportivo variant:
- The TRD variants consist of 3.0G TRD Sportivo (AT) and 2.5G TRD Sportivo (AT).
- TRD has also developed a special TRD bodykit for the Hilux to add sportiness to the looks and provide a more distinctive differentiation from the other variants.
- The TRD Sportivo package also comes with Daytime Running Lights on the TRD front bumper spoiler, black alloy rims, TRD combination leather upholstery, carbon fiber cubic printing on the instrument panel and door armrest panels, and TRD carpet mats.
- A TRD sports bar made of strong yet lightweight ABS material installed at the back of the cab comes as an option for TRD customers.
- Improvement includes a new dark grey finish for the alloy wheels, new interior trim and seat materials.
- The exterior is now decked with new bodystripes along the sides of the vehicle.
- Leather upholstery that was previously offered in the Hilux 3.0G is now also available in the 2.5G AT variant while the 2.5G MT gets a new seat fabric design.
- An additional lock is now provided for the spare wheel on all variants.
- A portable tyre pump is now made available for all variants.
- As an option, customers can have a more advanced level of connectivity with the availability of the DVD-AVN system that includes a reverse camera with static guide lines.
