SHAH ALAM: A delegate at the 16th Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) National Congress today suggested that Pakatan Harapan (PH) establish a rotation system for the prime minister's post if the coalition succeeds in forming the Federal government in the 15th General Election (GE15).
Sarawak representative Abun Sui Anyit, when debating the president's policy speech today said the proposal should also involve the appointment of leaders from Sabah and Sarawak.
Sabah delegate Peto Galim, meanwhile, suggested that PH create a special manifesto for the Land Below the Wind covering issues of poverty, illegal immigrants, Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63), Sabah economic plan, Sabah indigenous rights, job opportunities, security and State Assembly reforms.
Johor delegate and former education minister Dr Maszlee Malik stressed that PKR should prioritise education for all, ensuring that no one was left behind or denied the basic right.
A total of 18 delegates from across the country participated in today's debate session.
Delegates also cast their votes to elect 20 leaders to the PKR Central Leadership Council (MPP) for the 2022-2025 session.
The congress will continue tomorrow with the announcement of MPP members, followed by the winding-up speeches by the party's top leaders.
