PKR endorses Dr. Wan Azizah as Selangor MB candidate

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) has named its president, Datuk Dr. Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the new Selangor Menteri Besar candidate. This announcement was made by the PKR's de factor leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim after the party’s Central Leadership Council (SRC). "After getting the consensus of leaders at all levels in the state ... we decided that only one name that will be proposed to the Pakatan Rakyat's presidential council. "And that name is of the party's president, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah," he said at a press conference at the PKR headquarters.
