Plane crashes in Elmina, Sungai Buloh

SUNGAI BULOH: All passengers and crew of a plane that crashed near a residential area in Elmina in Seksyen U16, in Shah Alam were confirmed dead.
According to the Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Hussien Omar Khan, the victims consisted of eight passengers and the plane's crew, in addition to two civilians, a motorcyclist and a car driver who happened to be where it crashed.
Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia's (CAAM) Chief Executive Officer Datuk Captain Norazman Mahmud confirmed in a statement, the Beechcraft Model 390 (Premier 1) aircraft operated by Jetvalet Sdn Bhd departed from Langkawi International Airport at 2.08pm heading to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport.
"First contact was made by the aircraft with the Subang Air Traffic Control Tower at 2.47pm and permission to land was given at 2.48pm.
"At 2.51pm, the Subang Air Traffic Control Tower observed smoke from the crash site, but no 'mayday' call was made by the aircraft," he explained.
The Kuala Lumpur Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Center (KL ARCC) was activated to coordinate search and rescue operations.
A safety investigation will be conducted by Air Accident Investigation Bureau under the Ministry of Transport Malaysia.
