PLUS: Traffic congestion expected today
Members of the public can obtain the latest traffic information via the toll-free Plusline at 1800-88-0000 and the Twitter website at www.twitter.com/plustrafik or the LLM line at 1800-88-7752 and www.twitter.com/llminfotrafik.
Traffic flow on the North- South Expressway (Plus) was reported to be slow as of 9am today as most of the city dwellers began their journey to their respective hometowns in conjunction with the Chinese New Year to be celebrated tomorrow.
A spokesman of the Plus Highway Traffic Control Centre said in the northern sector, traffic congestion was reported from Tanjung Malim heading for Gopeng, while in the south, traffic was congested from Seremban heading for Skudai, Johor.
"It is expected to continue at noon until the evening," he said when contacted by Bernama, here today.
