PM attends Terengganu UMNO's Aidilfitri celebration

KUALA TERENGGANU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob today joined over 1,000 guests to attend the Terengganu UMNO's Aidilfitri Celebration held at the Terengganu Equestrian Resort here.
The prime minister arrived at 3.45 pm and spent about two hours at the event enjoying various Hari Raya delicacies such as ketupat, rendang and nasi minyak.
Speaking to reporters before leaving the venue, Ismail Sabri said today's atmosphere was lively and friendly and reflected the strong unity among Terengganu UMNO members.
"I attended this Hari Raya feast at the invitation of Terengganu UMNO and today I only had a friendly chat with its leaders. Thank you for inviting me," he said.
Also present were state UMNO Liaison Committee chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Said as well as divisions, Wanita, Youth and Puteri chiefs.
The guests were entertained by a performance of Raya songs and they also took the opportunity to have their pictures taken with the prime minister.
