KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob today conveyed the government's wishes and aspirations to four Malaysian ambassadors who received their letters of appointment recently.

He said this in a Facebook post after receiving a courtesy call from the four envoys in Putrajaya.

"In the meeting, I conveyed the wishes and aspirations of the government to these ambassadors while carrying out their duties in the respective countries they are posted to.

"This includes efforts to enhance existing bilateral cooperation and explore investment opportunities as well as new areas of cooperation that can benefit the country," he said.

The four Ambassadors are Malaysian Ambassador to Japan Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Malaysian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Datuk Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah, Malaysian Ambassador to South Korea Datuk Lim Juay Jin and Malaysian Ambassador to Iran Khairi Omar.


Ismail Sabri also wished good luck to all of them.

"Always preserve and uphold Malaysia's good name on the international stage," he said.

On July 12, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah presented letters of appointment to four new Malaysian heads of missions at the Istana Negara here.
