PM expresses condolences to families of eight drowned boys

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor have expressed their condolences to all the families of the eight teenage boys who drowned in Sungai Muar, Johor.
The prime minister via his Twitter page also hoped that the affected families would persevere in facing such trials and tribulations.
"May the families of the victims who drowned in Sg Muar persevere in facing this test of fate. Condolences from my wife and I. Al-Fatihah," he said.

In the 8.50am incident on Friday, Mohd Hafizuddin Kamal, 16, who was walking on a sandy area by the river, was believed to have suddenly slipped into the river before seven of his friends who tried to help him, also disappeared into the river.
The seven others who drowned were Mohd Zaki Zaidi, 16, Mohd Izoan Hakimis Amin, 16, Mohd Hafizul Danial Norhashim, 16, Mohd Zikri Zaidi, 14, Nazirul Aminuddin Zamri, 15, Mohd Shafiq Mohd Syukur, 16, and Mohd Nazreen Zainal, 14.
