AMONG the headlines for Wednesday, October 27, 2021, the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced that the number of COVID-19 cases in the country has once again surpassed the 6,000-mark, with 6,148 infections reported in the last 24-hour period.
Meanwhile, according to the MoH data, about 94.8 per cent of the country’s adult population have been fully vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine as of yesterday.
Also, Haiti’s streets were unusually quiet and gas stations remained empty as gangs blocked the entrance to ports that hold fuel stores and the country’s powerful gangster leader demanded that PM Ariel Henry resign.
