Among the headlines for Tuesday, 6 April, 2021, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba has confirmed today that the government has decided to proceed with the use of the COVID-19 vaccine manufactured by AstraZeneca, as clinical data has proven that the benefits outweigh the harm.
Also, Singapore will accept the International Air Transport Association (IATA) mobile travel pass for pre-departure checks, where travellers can get clearance to fly to and enter Singapore by showing a smartphone application containing their data from accredited laboratories.
