AMONG the headlines for Friday, 11 June, 2021, Malaysia logs another 6,849 new COVID-19 cases today.
The Klang Valley accounted for more than half of these with 2,558 in Selangor and 884 in Kuala Lumpur.
Meanwhile, there were 699 cases registered in Sarawak, 685 cases in Negri Sembilan and Johor with 426 cases.
This is followed by Sabah (309), Kelantan (248), Penang (205), Labuan (176), Melaka (170), Kedah and Perak had 161 each, Pahang (89), Terengganu (66), Putrajaya (10), Perlis (2)
Also, New Zealand Muslims opposed today to plans for a movie about the 2019 Christchurch mosque shootings in which a gunman killed 51 people, saying the attack was still too raw for grieving families and their community.
