AMONG the headlines for Friday, March 11, 2022, Hulu Langat district officer Dr Ani Ahmad earlier today said that further checks at the Taman Bukit Permai 2 landslide site showed cracks at the location due to land movement.
Ani said more than 200 residents living near the site of the landslide in Ampang were ordered to evacuate their homes, in order for the authorities to conduct a detailed study.
Also, civilian targets have come under Russian shelling in the central Ukrainian city of Dnipro today, as the first direct attack on the city, killing one.
The emergency services said Russian forces are currently encircling at least four major Ukrainian cities.
