AMONG the headlines for Monday, August 2, 2021, walk-in vaccination will be made available only in the Klang Valley to those who haven't received their appointment for vaccination via the MySejahtera app, according to Khairy Jamaluddin.
Meanwhile, Khairy said the walk-in vaccinations for senior citizens who have yet to receive first dose appointments will start nationwide next week.
Also, Germany aims to start vaccinating the elderly and at-risk with COVID-19 booster shots from September 1, as concerns grow about the spread of the Delta variant.
The plan also recommends promoting vaccination for those aged 12-17, which would go further than earlier guidance issued by the country’s vaccine regulator.
