Police cordons off Lembah Kiara, armed men still at large

Police cordoned off the Lembah Kiara Recreational Park, in a hunt for six foreign men, suspected to be involved in a series of break-ins in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Petaling Jaya today.
Brickfields District Police Chief, Senior Assistant Commissioner Muhamad Azlee Abdullah who confirmed the incident said all entrances to the garden are closed and the public inside the garden has been directed out.
Muhamad Azlee said his men bumped into the foreigners while patrolling in a nearby area around 5am this morning.
“All of them were armed with parang and tried to attack policemen before fleeing into the forest area," he added.
The suspects are believed to have been escaped to forest area in Taman Rekreasi Lembah Kiara.
All entrances to the garden are closed and the public inside the garden has been directed out. - Screencapture
