Police today denied reports that the body of Attorney-General Chambers’ Appellate and Trial Division deputy chief Anthony Kevin Morais, has been found in Klang.
The denial was made by Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department Datuk Zainuddin Ahmad.
Speaking to Bernama in a telephone interview today, he said the reports were untrue.
Zainuddin however declined to comment further on the matter.
News of the recovery of a body believed to be that of Morais was reported on Facebook and became viral on the social media.
Morais was reported to have been missing since last Friday and on Monday, police formed a special task force, led by Zainuddin himself, to investigate the matter.
Morais was reported last seen leaving his apartment at Menara Duta, Kuala Lumpur on Friday for his office in Putrajaya.
He was also reported to be driving a grey Proton Perdana with registration number WA6264Q.
