Police have detained an elderly man believed to be involved in a road bullying incident in Jalan Teknologi, Section 6, Kota Damansara today.
Petaling Jaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said the 61-year-old man was picked up in Kota Damansara at 7pm.
"Investigations are ongoing and the suspect will be remanded tomorrow," he said in a statement.
A 22-year-old student had lodged a report on the incident at 4.45 pm yesterday.
"The complainant claimed that while he was driving at the scene, there was a misunderstanding when changing lanes that led to honking several times," he added.
ACP Nik Ezanee said the case was classified under Section 427 of the Penal Code for a treacherous act.
Earlier, viral videos on Facebook and WhatsApp showed the actions of a man spitting and punching the student’s car.
