Police found six stab wounds on the back of a woman's body, killed in a robbery over RM200, at her house in Kampung Mengkebang, Kuala Krai, yesterday.
Kelantan Acting Police chief SAC Din Ahmad said a special team was set up to investigate the case which took place at 3.30 pm.
"We believe more than one person was involved. They entered via the kitchen door," he said after a handing-over-of-duty by Kota Bharu District Police chief ACP Baharom Abu to his successor, ACP Ismail Mat Sidik.
He said four suspects, aged 30 to 40 years, were detained in separate locations in Kuala Krai, from 10 am to 4 am today, to help in investigation over the case.
The victim Rokiah Mamat, 61, was found dead in the kitchen of her house soon after the robbery. -- Bernama
