Police hunting down three parang wielding Indonesian robbers

The robbers had entered the house via a kitchen window after cutting the metal bars over the window and taking out the glasses on the window.
Police are looking for three Indonesians who robbed a family in Kampung Tawakal here early Tuesday morning.
Johor Baharu Utara District Police acting chief Supt Beh Eng Lai said in 3.15 am incident, the robbers who were armed with two parang and a wooden truncheon had tied up the father, mother and 14-year-old daughter.
"They covered their faces and wore gloves. They ran off an hour later with cash of RM500, jewellery belonging to the victim's wife worth RM5,000, three cellphones and a power bank. The family was not harmed," he said in a statement.
He said the robbers had entered the house via a kitchen window after cutting the metal bars over the window and taking out the glasses on the window.
