Police intensify manhunt for wife killer

YAHAYA: The man, who worked as a caretaker of an Internet cafe, disappeared after the incident.
Police have intensified the manhunt for a 33-year-old man who is believed to have murdered his wife in Taman Puchong Utama, Bukit Puchong near here yesterday.
Subang Jaya police chief ACP Yahaya Ramli said the man, who worked as a caretaker of an Internet cafe, disappeared after the incident.
He said the post-mortem found fresh injuries and scars of old injuries on the wife's body.
"The victim also had an injury on the left side of her head and swelling on the right, believed to due to strangulation and slamming of her head on a hard surface... her sixth rib on the left side was in the healing stage after a fracture," he said when contacted by Bernama today.
He added that the wife, aged 25, was also found positive for Methamphetamine and Amphetamine.
The victim, a housewife, was found dead with multiple injuries at the couple's home.
