Police issue guidelines to reduce crime rate
The Selangor police have come up with guideline to further reduce crime in the state.
State police chief Datuk Mohd Shukri Dahlan said the guidelines for 2014 included eliminating prostitution and vice activities, gambling, drug smuggling and to reduce cases involving loan sharks.
"We call for the public to cooperate with the police by providing information," he told reporters after the handing over of duty of the Ampang Jaya police chief on Thursday.
ACP Khairuldin Saat, from Bukit Aman, is the new Ampang Jaya police chief, replacing ACP Amiruddin Jamaluddin, who takes over Khairuldin's post as Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) Assistant Director.
