Police issues picture of British boy kidnap suspect
The Royal Malaysian Police (RMP) today issued photo fit (picture) of the suspects involved in the abduction of a British baby boy Bangsar yesterday. The Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department, Head, Datuk Ku Chin Wah said police have identified the suspect who is in her/his 30s. “The police ruled out the possibility that the motive was kidnapping for ransom as it does not make sense. No one would abduct a child aged 20 months because kids at this age are difficult to control, "said Ku Chin Wah. When asked by reporters if the father of the child was also in the list of suspects as the father is given less attention, Ku said police did not see the need to immediately question him. Freddie Joseph, was kidnapped from his home in Bangsar yesterday and was found in Taman Tasik Titiwangsa today by a truck driver Hamid Md Isa, 57, who is also a retiree from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and a taxi driver Haris Mohd Nor, 48, which happens to be passing through at the lake. The victim was abducted by a man and a woman when he was with his mother who was having a drink at their home.
