The police have detained a man in connection with the seizure of 1.4kg of drugs worth RM14,500 at a fast food restaurant here last Thursday.
The 46-year-old suspect was picked up about 4.10pm in front of the outlet at the Tapah rest and recreation area off the south-bound North-South Expressway.
Tapah police chief, Supt Som Sak Din Keliaw said a police team seized a bundle containing what was believed to be ganja weighing 954.6 grammes and a plastic packet believed to contain heroin weighing 458.6 grammes.
