The police have detained a man who attempted to distribute drugs in ang-pow packets last Thursday, in Kampung Kebun Sayor Bakri here.
The suspect was nabbed at 2.45pm, after a police team seized an ang-pow packet containing 200 pills believed to be eramin 5, during a raid at a house.
In a statement on Wednesday, Muar police chief ACP Azman Ayob said the raid was carried out following information that the house was used to distribute drugs.
He said the police also seized a cigarette tin containing what was believed to be ketamin weighing 8.56 grammes at the house.
Meanwhile, Azman said a youth, believed to be a drug distributor was detained at a petrol station in Sungai Balang near here on the same day.
He said the police found two plastic wrappings, each containing compact dried plants believed to be ganja, and 142 grammes of heroin under the suspect's motorcycle seat.
