Police: No leads on little Satishkumar
Months after his disappearance, police still have no leads on the case of T. Satishkumar (pic) the five-year-old boy who went missing in Penang last year.
Penang CID chief SAC Mazlan Kesah said: "Until now, we still do not have any positive developments or any new clues that can lead us to Satishkumar.”
However, he added that the Nur Alert (15999) system and information on the missing child is now circulated nationwide.
Mazlan said that a tip-off that the boy may be in Klang was found to be not credible.
Satishkumar went missing at Jalan Sama Gagah near Permatang Pauh, Penang on on Aug 8, 2012.
He had followed his father V. Tamilvanan, a 35-year-old lorry driver, and grandfather S. Velmurugan to the foodcourt.
Sathishkumar was given some money by his father to buy sweets at the same food court. In a blink of an eye, the boy vanished and has not been seen since.
He was last seen wearing a yellow shirt and green shorts. He is 70cm and 15kg.
Anyone with any information can contact the investigating officer, Inspector Mohamad Ehsan Abu Bakar at 012-2494002.
